Magical Beatles Tours

"There are places I'll remember all my life, though some have changed…”

- In My Life by John Lennon & Paul McCartney

It may be over 50 years since the Beatles broke up, but their timeless songs, which have helped to shape modern music, are as popular as ever. Our magical Beatles tours offer a fascinating exploration of the sights and attractions in Liverpool and London associated with the Fab Four, as well as an insight into their rise to fame and their enduring appeal.

These days, Liverpool is an exciting modern city (with a wonderful waterfront, which is not to be missed!), but in the early 1960s, it was an industrial city, still recovering from the ravages of the Second World War. For four young working class men, pop music was their escape and the now world-famous Cavern Club was the gateway to their dreams.

The Cavern Club on Mathew Street in Liverpool is a thriving music venue and one of Liverpool’s top tourist destinations. The cradle of British pop music, and the famous Merseybeat sound in particular, the Beatles first performed at The Cavern Club in 1961. Today, the club showcases the legendary Beatles sound with regular live performances for visitors to enjoy.

Just around the corner from The Cavern Club is the incredible Hard Day’s Night Hotel – the perfect place for Beatles fans to stay! All the rooms are individually designed with Beatles themed artwork and the hotel restaurant, Blakes, is named after the artist Sir Peter Blake, who created the iconic sleeve for the Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band album.

The award-winning Beatles Story, located in the historic Royal Albert Dock in Liverpool, is the perfect place to begin your Beatles tour. The museum is the world’s largest permanent Beatles exhibition and tells the story of the lives, times, culture and music of the Beatles.

For Beatles aficionados, the Liverpool Beatles Museum near The Cavern Club in Mathew Street, should be top of your list. Holding the largest collection of authentic Beatles memorabilia anywhere in the world, the museum boasts over 1,000 items on five floors.

Our tours take in the almost mythical ‘Penny Lane’ and ‘Strawberry Fields’ – perfect for photo ops! – and of course the chance to see the childhood homes of the Beatles. In addition, visitors get to see the incredible Casbah coffee club where the Beatles honed their musical skills and where it really all started.

The London leg of our Beatles tours takes you right back to the Swinging Sixties when London was the centre of the fashion and music world. No Beatles tour would be complete without a chance to see the legendary Abbey Road Studios and a walk across the most famous zebra crossing in the world!
