Janet Redler Travel is proud to support English Tourism Week celebrating England’s diverse, exciting and vibrant sector, and highlighting the quality and value of the English tourism offer.

English Tourism Week takes place from 13 – 22 March and shines a spotlight on the outstanding quality and exceptional value that English tourism brings to visitors and communities alike. This year’s theme is Local Stories, National Growth — Celebrating English Tourism Week.
Tourism is one of the largest and most valuable industries in England, supporting hundreds of thousands of small-to-medium sized businesses, over two million jobs and generating about £127 billion annually for the economy.

English Tourism Week forms part of VisitEngland’s commitment to champion the sector through political engagement nationally, regionally and locally – demonstrating to political decision-makers and key stakeholders including Minsters, MPs, industry and the media, the vital importance of tourism to England and local communities. This annual campaign raises awareness of the huge contribution English tourism makes to the UK economy and its powerful potential to drive economic growth and prosperity across all regions.
English Tourism Week aims to highlight the huge contribution that English tourism makes to the UK economy. It aims to kickstart the spring/summer season and give businesses and destinations a marketing hook to engage with customers and encourage bookings. It gives businesses an opportunity to engage with local stakeholders such as MPs and media, to bring attention to tourism’s contribution in their area, and it helps to increase awareness of the quality and variety of the English tourism offer.

Speaking in 2025, former Tourism Minister Sir Chris Bryant said: “England’s first-class tourism offering is a source of national pride, bringing billions for the economy, supporting millions of jobs and driving growth into local communities.”
English tourism touches everyone: visitors, residents, businesses and destinations. It is one of the few sectors active in every part of the country. Composing 80% of the UK’s visitor economy, English tourism is a major employer of school leavers and young people, as well as an incubator for entrepreneurs and innovation. The sector supports thousands of businesses and millions of jobs in England.

Janet Redler, Managing Director of Janet Redler Travel, said: “We’re delighted to be supporting English Tourism Week. This valuable annual campaign helps to raise the profile of tourism in England and its importance to the UK economy and we’d urge all those in the sector to get involved. England is a fabulous place to visit at any time of year and we look forward to welcoming many overseas visitors in 2026!”
