Beer, Wine & Spirits Tours

A visit to a traditional pub is one of the top things that many visitors to the UK and Ireland look forward to. From busy city centre hostelries to quiet country inns, there are so many wonderful pubs in every part of the two countries. These days, as well as the traditional pint many serve delicious meals, and inns provide accommodation too.

For beer and cider lovers, there are also many traditional breweries to visit, some of which date back hundreds of years.

Although not traditionally known for its wines, Britain has seen an explosion in vineyards in recent years, thanks in part to today’s warmer climate, and many English and Welsh wines are now extremely palatable.

While whisky has been on the tourist trail in Scotland for many years, distilleries have now sprung up across the UK and Ireland, and the rapid growth of artisan gin production has created a whole new gin lovers' tourist map.

We have close associations with vineyards across Britain, from Kent and Sussex in south east England, to those of mid Wales and beyond, and we can create a wine trail for you which takes in some of the best. A group of Swedish wine connoisseurs, for example, enjoyed a four day tour of the vineyards of Kent and Sussex with us, read more here.

If beer is more your thing, we can organise visits to some of Europe’s greatest breweries, or maybe you prefer cider and are interested in visiting age-old English cider orchards.

For whisky lovers, a tour of the famous distilleries of Scotland is an unforgettable way to see (and taste!) the best the country has to offer. Why not take a whiskey tour in Ireland, or sample the delights of Welsh whisky? (And you can, of course, debate the origins of the Scottish / Welsh and Irish / American spellings with the experts along the way!)

One of our clients was the first winner of Loving Welsh Food's A Taste of Wales Penderyn Distillery Limerick Competition. Our guests enjoyed a lush Welsh supper and a fabulous evening of Welsh entertainment!

Melin Lynnon is the only surviving working windmill in Wales. Situated on the island of Anglesey, in the north west of Wales, Melin Lynnon produces a range of delicious chocolate and gins.
